Job Summary

As a Senior Go Backend Engineer - Cybersecurity (19694), you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient software applications. Your role will involve leading technical projects, mentoring junior engineers, and continuously improving software development practices to ensure the delivery of robust and reliable software systems.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Design, develop, and integrate high-performance backend systems for cybersecurity platforms using Golang
• Architect and implement scalable microservices and cloud-native solutions ensuring high availability and resilience
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, observability, and monitoring to support reliable system operations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to system design, and mentor engineers to drive best practices

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 7+ years of experience in backend software engineering and distributed systems
• Strong proficiency in Golang with hands-on experience building production systems
• Experience designing and developing microservices, REST APIs, and gRPC services
• Strong knowledge of testing practices including unit testing, BDD, and clean code principles
• Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka or Google Pub/Sub
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms, preferably GCP
• Experience with DevOps and GitOps practices including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code
• Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills with ability to work in dynamic environments
